ADVOCACY
Ensuring the smooth flow of goods across borders today goes well beyond filling out the proper customs paperwork and paying the applicable duties and taxes. At the global and national levels, a vast array of initiatives intended to address security, as well as health and safety and environmental concerns, are impacting the international movement of goods.
Drawing upon the experience and expertise of its members, I.E.Canada tackles a broad range of issues from the modernization and simplification of customs procedures to export controls to food and consumer product safety.
