Transfer Pricing: Expert Advice from CRA and Tax Professionals

I.E.Canada's Transfer Pricing Forum 2010 will be held May 19 - 20, 2010.

I.E.Canada has assembled a stellar roster of U.S. and Canadian speakers to update businesses on the latest transfer pricing trends, best practices and new rules.

The objective of I.E.Canada's Transfer Pricing conference is to go beyond the superficial and dig deeper into the difficulties, complexities and gray areas that arise in the practice of inter-affiliate pricing in the context of today's most current trends and regulatory developments.

This highly practical two-day conference features group instruction by leading tax experts, lawyers, accountants, economists, and industry practitioners, using case studies, panel discussions, workshops, and plenary sessions.

Keynote addresses will be given by Warren Jestin, senior vice president and chief economist, Bank of Nova Scotia, who will present a Global Economic Outlook and Jennifer Ryan, director, international tax division, Canada Revenue Agency, who will outline Future Directions at Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Impacting Transfer Pricing Compliance.

This is a rare opportunity for finance and tax executives to gain valuable tax saving tips and dialogue with CRA representatives Patricia Spice, director, competent authority services, International and Large Business Directorate, Compliance Branch, and Paul Stesco, manager international advisory services division, International Tax Division.

The comprehensive agenda includes topics such as: New Developments in U.S. and Canada, Important Case Law Developments (GE Canada, GlaxoSmithKline), New OECD Guidelines and Business Restructurings, How to Prepare a Transfer Pricing Study/Functional Analysis, Transfer Pricing Audit Practical Guidelines and Best Practices, Latest Trends in Dispute Resolution, Customs Valuation and Transfer Pricing, Using APA's Strategically in a Globalized Economy, Practical Approach to the Treatment of Intangibles.
